The Castlecomer Disovery Park is an 80 acre natural woodland park, 18km from Kilkenny city. It is a social and community enterprise and operates on a Non Profit basis. In addition to many other amenities they provide Education & Recreation Programmes for primary and secondary school students.
The park has been developing a maths trail in conjunction with the Kilkenny Education Centre and local teachers for quite a while now and they are delighted to announce that the launch will occur during Maths Week 2013.
The Castlecomer Discovery Park is an approved Discover Primary Maths & Science (DPMS) Centre and their new Maths & Numeracy Trail received DPMS accreditation last week.
