In this talk Padraig will look at all things circular from the question "Why are manhole covers round?" to how an architect might plan out the design of a circular garden. This brings into play geometric concepts such as shapes of constant width and Junior Cert theorems such as the double angle formula. The circle is perfect in so many ways, including being the basis of a short talk.
