Broad Student Survey Yeilds Surprising Results
Census at School, a non-profit organisation established to promote a good understanding of statistics, mathematics and analytical skills in schools. They recently conducted a survey over eight and a half thousand students, the results of which have just been released.

Statistically Strong in Hong Kong
Two groups of Irish Mathematicians have places within the top three in the world in their respective categories. The two group projects, one from Galway titled "Tracing the Roots of Irish Vegetables" and another from Limerick titled "Think Organic", have done Ireland proud at the World Statistics Congress in Hong Kong.
