Broad Student Survey Yeilds Surprising Results
This large survey covered a wide range of topics, including internet usage, both time spent online and what they spent that time doing, what languages they felt were most valuable, their interest in sports and their tastes in musical instruments. A number of these results turned out to be worth noting.
It will surprise no one to learn that the internet is becoming an increasingly dominant force in our world. However, the extent of its use is still rather striking. Of all those surveyed, only 2% had not been online in the last week, with almost two thirds using it as a means of socialising. Over two thirds of those surveyed also have a game console at home, with a merge 0.5% not having any of the listed devices. Almost half of the students surveyed played an instrument, with the piano and guitar coming out in front of these lists.
There are a number of interesting results and the survey is well worth checking out. We have hosted it here, and would encourage the curious to have a look.
