Fermi Problems workshop & talk

Solve “hard” real life problems with estimation, numerical reasoning and questioning skills. How many pages would you need to show a million stars? How long would it take to cycle to the Moon? How many Mars bars would fit in a line around the school building? Use concrete objects and your imagination to come up with answers to these and other questions. Maximum group size: 2 classes
